Sandpits & Sandboxes
Kids can enjoy all the possibilities of imaginative and creative play whilst learning new skills all within their very own backyard sandpit. With a range of shapes and sizes there are plenty of wooden sandpit or sandbox options for every preference. Sandpits are great addition to any backyard, they’re easy to assemble, safe and fit comfortably into most small backyards. Our standard sandboxes are simple to assemble and come with a seat or wide enough fence for comfortable sitting while playing. For protection against the sun, we offer a range of sandboxes with an attached canopy perfect for summer time. For sand play without a sandpit, the Picnic and Activity tables keeps kids sitting out of the sand and playing with their hands.
Designed to meet kid's needs, our sandboxes may include a storage box for the safekeeping of toys and small gaps in the lids to avoid pinched fingers. To give your sandbox extra protections, a cover can be placed over the top when not in use (some models feature a retractable lid). The cover will also protect against the weather and any unwanted creatures making their way into the box. An internal ground sheet can be fitted at the bottom of the sandpit to keep the sand from mixing in with any dirt or grass from the ground. Our sand pits are easy to assemble with clear instructions to help you along to the way. Our premium treated timber keeps our sandpits lasting through rain, hail and shine with minimal upkeep required.
To promote imaginative play in young children, we have developed uniquely shaped sandboxes that mimic the shape of a boat, car and more. Sandpits are the perfect opportunity for little ones to invite their friends over to socialise and engage in role play fun. Building sand castles and playing with toys will also encourage active imaginations and creative learning. Digging, pouring, lifting and scooping helps to develop motor skills and grow.
