Climbing Frames FAQ
A climbing frame is any structure that allows kids to scale and swing, and may include ladders, platforms, slides, monkey bars or swings.
Climbing frames support physical development and motor skills by improving strength and balance. They also encourage problem-solving, while imaginative play around a climbing frame for kids helps build social skills and creativity.
We recommended placing soft, impact-absorbing surfaces under a climbing frame, such as grass or rubber play mats.
Kids climbing frames are available for a wide range of ages, including toddler climbing frames and larger childrens climbing frames suitable for older kids. Always check the recommended age guidelines for safe and appropriate play.
Many climbing frames for kids are designed to be modular or compatible with additional accessories. Depending on the model, you may be able to add swings, slides or monkey bars.
